BetaCAP systems allow the generation of known and reproducible gas concentrations through controlled dilution processes, allowing the performance of the analyzers to be verified according to automated and documentable procedures.
The BetaCAP30 solution, proposed by Mega System srl, is a 30-capillary gas diluter for linearity and repeatability tests on gas analyzers. It is based on the use of 30 calibrated capillaries divided into groups. Through electronic pressure management and automatic selection of active capillaries, the system is able to achieve extremely precise dilution ratios while maintaining high stability over time.
InfoCAP3000 software, designed to manage test sequences, automatically acquire measurements from analyzers, and generate EN14181-compliant reports, is available for complete test automation. Furthermore, this in-house software uses the physical Hagen-Poiseuille equations to automatically compensate for variations due to different viscosities of the gases and mixtures used during the tests.
